B-Tech Admissions
You've come to the right place if you want to study BTech in the heart of the city, where the focus is on changing the world for the better tomorrow. We don't use any special formulas to choose students. We consider every applicant's application, both academic and personal, in order to select students from a diverse range of backgrounds who will fit our community.
Registration is open to eligible candidates for B-Tech admissions. Qualification and admission criteria will be based on the norms of the Govt. of Kerala and the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (Kerala Technological University)

For Govt Quota
Candidates should qualify in the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM, conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ SEBC and the candidates included in the PwD quota list published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, the minimum marks required for admission shall be 5% less than that prescribed for general category.
For Management Quota
Candidates should qualify in the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM, conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala or JEE. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission.
For NRI Quota
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission. No need to qualify the entrance examination(KEAM/JEE).
- Rounding off the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.
Age
Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December 2022. No relaxation of age will be allowed.
HOW TO APPLY:Candidates need to apply online in the college website www.hcet.in. List of documents needed for online registration is available in the website. Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 500/- with online acknowledgement receipt and submit the relevant original documents to college at the time of admission.
