The Heera College of Engineering and Technology (HCET) is proud of having an aesthetically designed, elegantly furnished modern library that has a large collection of Technical Reference Books, National and International Journals, Online Journals, CDs, Periodicals, Magazines etc. The library is an institutional member of AICTE-INDEST consortium, subscribing to more than 2600 online international journals. It also possesses a high end Digital Library with 8 major technical databases and provides access to 20 Terabytes of NPTEL (National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning) video courses carried out by the seven IITs and IISc jointly forming a consortium by supplementing 129 video courses.
• IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)
IEEE is the world's largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. The Library is subscribing to IEEE-ASPP (All Society Periodicals e-Package) comprising of 145 journals with back file access since 2000.
• ASME (American Society for Mechanical Engineers)
Founded in 1880 as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME is the premier professional membership organization for more than 127,000 mechanical engineers and associated members worldwide. ASME also conducts one of the world's largest technical publishing operations in the world, offering thousands of titles including some of the profession's most prestigious journals, conference proceedings, and ASME Press books. . Back file access since 2000 is possible.
• ASCE (American Society for Civil Engineers)
ASCE publishes 33 journals – more than 7,000 Papers per year of Civil Engineering research and practice. Explore one of the titles below to find out how to submit a manuscript, where to preview the newest findings, and how to subscribe. Back file access since 1983 is possible.
• Science Direct
ScienceDirect is website operated by Elsevier containing about 11 million articles from 2,500 journals and 6,000 e-books, reference works, book series and handbooks. The articles are grouped in four main sections: Physical Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Humanities. For most articles on the website, abstracts are freely available; access to the full text of the article (in PDF and HTML) Back file access from 2000 is possible.
• Springer EE, EC & CS
Springer is a global publishing company which publishes books, e-books and peer-reviewed journals in science, technical and medical (STM) publishing. Springer also hosts a number of scientific databases, including SpringerLink, Springer Protocols, and SpringerImages. Book publications require_once major reference works, textbooks, monographs and book series. The Library is subscribing to Springer EE, EC package, comprising of 134 e- journals with back file access since 1997.
