All of these factors will have an effect on your career choices. Asking yourself questions like "Where do I want to go?" Try to think about what you like, what you're good at, and what motivates and challenges you.

Motives

There are various reasons why people seek a career shift, such as professional advancement, time away from home, family obligations, work environment, money, fame, power, creativity, independence, social contact, difficult tasks, job prospects, fulfilment, and the ability to serve others.

The Training and Placement Cell of the Institute has been set up to look after the Industry-Academia interface so that the students can be groomed into industry-ready technocrats.

Mission

To achieve 100% placement for students through dedication, attitude and complete involvement is our mission. Training and Placement Cell arranges and coordinates various programs that aim at molding the students so as to meet the expectations in career building and in turn bring glory to the parent institution. So we organize common placement programs and guide the students for campus recruitments conducted in universities and other reputed institutions.

Objectives & Functions

The Placement Cell channelizes feedback from Industry, R&D Organizations and Management Organizations regarding academic programs, to the Institute. The Placement Cell continually functions to safeguard the interest of the students and also endeavors to be a part of their safe and secure future.
Companies, R & D Organizations have to register with the Placement Cell for the purpose of placement and internships. The Placement Cell will appropriately co-ordinate to take the process further.
Besides producing quality-oriented manpower, HCET also facilitates appropriate utilization of such personnel. Acting as the interface, the Training & Placement Cell of the college facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students
The office liaises with various industrial establishments, corporate houses etc which conduct campus interviews and select graduate and post-graduate students from all disciplines. The Training & Placement Office provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other logistics. The Office interacts with many industries in the country, of which some companies visit the campus for holding campus interviews. The industries which approach the institute come under the purview of:

The placement season runs through the course of the year commencing the last week of August through to May. Pre-Placement Talks are also conducted in this regard as per mutual convenience. Job offers, dates of interviews, selection of candidates etc. are announced through the Training & Placement Office. The Placement Office is assisted by a committee comprising representatives of students from the under-graduation. The committee evolves a broad policy framework every year besides a set of rules which are inviolable. Student members are closely co-opted in implementing these policy decisions.

Our support is person-to-person for our students: their academic studies, their mental wellbeing, etc. Our students are supported by dedicated Faculties which provide better care and ensure their success.

We now focus on student futures, collaborations, and innovation in teaching, learning and have created a new Plan to help us get there.
This Plan is a reflection of the new start made across the organization. It focuses on the development of entrepreneurial and innovative qualities in students. We also strongly support financial management skills.
